Travel:

  • Airport - Barcelona (BCN)

  • Train - from T2 (towards Barcelona), one stop to El Prat de Llobregat, cross platforms (Via 1 - this is the same platform back to the airport) to Sitges

  • Bus - approx. €8 (cash only)

  • Taxi - approx. €50 + toll, or pre-book with Lemon Transfers on +34 630 25 27 81 (same price; they are also on Facebook)

  • If coming from Barcelona city there is a direct train from Barcelona Sants/Sants Estació - approx. €5 (and Lemon Transfers is also approx. €50)

 Accommodation:

  • We are staying on Carrer Nou

  • Sitges is mostly pedestrianised and everything is pretty much walking distance, so you can't go wrong (e.g. our apartment to the Sky Bar is a 10 min walk)

  • Tip: avoid the 'Parrots cross' (Plaça Indústria/Carrer Primer de Maig) if you want to sleep before 3am!

  • >staysitges.com< have good deals and we tend to use the >booking.com< app for ease

  • Drop me an email if you require suggestions

Beaches - facing the water:

  • Cala Balmins (clothing optional) is far-left past the church and beyond Vivero - and there is another beach further on past the Marina

  • Platja de Sant Sebastiá, on route to Balmins, is nice but a bit family-y - and good to know there is an all-day Farmacia at San Sebastian

  • Platja de la Ribera is the 'gay beach' in town (inclusive to all and not nude) - the beaches further on, to the right, are quieter until…

  • Playa del Hombre Muerto (about 45 min walk) - if you are feeling gayventurous :]

Matthew & I will be in Sitges Sunday 18th to Sunday 25th
